Mintia is an Asahi mint product that may be small, but contain strong flavor! I have amassed a small collection of these portable mints and have reviewed them here below! I use a five star rating system for taste, strength, and duration of flavor. Each rating is relative to the mints in the list, and is not objective. *☺ = approved dusky recommendation!

---|---|---|---|---|
taste | strength | duration of flavor | notes | |
WILD & COOL ☺ | A true and safe classic mint, the wild & cool has a refreshing taste with a hint of sweetness that isn't too harsh on the taste buds. Smells like Colgate toothpaste. | |||
COLDSMASH ☺ | A WILD & COOL mint that traded its sweetness for an attack on the tongue. It may physically hurt to consume, but does its job fairly well. Smells like Sensodyne toothpaste. | |||
catetchin ☺ | The green tea undertones provide an unexpected but pleasant surprise. There is a slight sweetness to the aftertaste. | |||
AQUA SPARK | The first "non-minty" tablet on the roster is a soda and lemon flavored mint. It is reminiscent of ramune and is more adjacent to candy than a mint. | |||
grape | The sweet and subtly sour notes of the grape mint make for a tart experience. You may be better off with a real grape, but desperate times call for desperate measures. | |||
Calpis | An intriguing crossover with Mintia, the calpis flavor is fairly accurate and makes for a good candy. | |||
Mintia Breeze | ||||
REFRESH BLUE ☺ | Similarly to the WILD & COOL, there is a refreshing and sweet flavor that is pleasant. | |||
crystal silver ☺ | The intense flavors combined with the size has me breathing snowflakes out of my nose. | |||
fresh grape | A little worse than the grape flavor. Only worthwhile if you don't mind the aftertaste. | |||
fresh lemon | The citrus flavor comes through artificially with the impending aftertaste that will leave you wanting any other mint instead. |
